Terms of Agreement for Pet Care Services

Meet/Greet:
Your first consultation is Free. If you need any additional consultations the rate of one visit will be charged to your bill.

Payments:
All Vacation/Business Travel Visits require to be paid in Full 2 Days before your service date starts. Overnight Care - To be paid in full 2 Days before your service starts. For my Dog Walking Clients, I usually bill at the end of each month. If you prefer to be billed at the end of week, please contact me.

No longer taking credit cards. You have the option of paying via Zelle, Venmo or Cash

Cancellation Policies:
Vacation & Business Travel need to be cancelled 7 days in advance from your start date.
Dog Walks/Let Outs - cancellations made after 9pm the night before the visit will be charged full price of the visit.
In the event of an early return from a trip No Refunds or Credits are given as I have reserved that time for your pet care and have turned down other potential clients.

Refunds:
Credits will be given with adequate notice. Credits can be used up to 6 months of your cancellation date.

Client Return:
Client must notify me when you have returned home. Pampered Paws must know that your pets are being cared for and no additional visits are required. No matter how late you return please Text otherwise I will return to your home for an additional visit and you will be billed.

Key Policy:
Two working keys to your home is required. Pampered Paws reserves the right to make copies of your keys in order to provide necessary back up pet care. Keys must be provided. Garage Entry & Keyless entry don't always work. If you live in a gated community you must provide a gate card, remote access or gate codes. I will not access your apartment/condo leasing office. If you decide that you don't want me to retain copies of your keys, a $25 service charge will be required for any future pick-ups/drop-offs. NO KEYS will be mailed, hidden under mats outside or locked in homes on last visits.

Pet Care Hours:
Open at 7am and Close at 9pm
Morning visits are between 7am - 10am
Midday visits are between 11am - 3pm
No Visits as this is my person time 4pm-6pm
Evening /Bedtime visits are between 6pm - 9pm
Overnights visits start at 9:00 pm to 7:00 am

Scheduled Visits:
Pampered Paws requires 3 visits a day for dogs unless they have a doggy door or trained on pee pads. Cats & other small pets will be seen once a day. I do not offer every other day cat visits. This is to ensure the health and safety of your pets.

Home Care:
Pampered Paws may adjust the thermostat to ensure the health and comfort of your pets during my visits.

In-Home Care:
Client agrees to maintain a standard of cleanliness before the sitter stays overnight. Client agrees to provide a hygienic and comfortable location for the pet sitter to occupy. Per the discretion of the pet sitter, if cleanliness standards aren't met, the pet sitter has a right to decline overnight service and offer drop in visits instead.

Reserving a Booking/Online Profile:
Pampered Paws uses a safe and encrypted online scheduling system called Precise Pet Care. Clients are required to schedule their visits through this system and to keep their profiles up to date. The information in the system is what I rely on for the most up to date information about your pet(s). If you forget your username and password Please reset it.

Confirmation Process:
All reservations will be confirmed by email from Precise Pet Care. If you haven't received an email your reservation may not be secure and we ask that you please call or text before you leave to verify that I have you scheduled.

Pet Behavior:
If a pet has a history of biting or other aggressive behavior, Pampered Paws reserves the right to refuse service. Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pampered Paws in the event of a claim by any person injured by the pet. Client also agrees that it is their responsibility to notify Pampered Paws of any pet that has caused any injury to any human.

Unsecured Pets:
Pampered Paws is not responsible for or will not be liable for free roaming outdoor pets in the event of any fines, illness, injury, loss of death. This includes pets that are secured with invisible fencing. It is strongly advised that all pets have identification and that they remain inside the home or confined to a yard for their own safety and welfare in your absence.

Emergency Care:
Client authorizes Pampered Paws to obtain any emergency veterinarian care that may be necessary during the time spent with your pet. Client accepts responsibility for any charges related to this emergency care. Client also authorizes Pampered Paws to utilize an alternative veterinarian in the event that your primary veterinarian is unavailable. Every effort will be made to contact the owner prior to obtaining emergency care.

Emergency Contact:
This should be a person close enough to walk to your home (for example, a neighbor). In the event of a personal emergency, illness or injury regarding the pet sitter, this information is needed so that I can contact this person to request their assistance to check on your pet(s). In the event that you do not provide a nearby emergency contact with access to your home, client realizes that Pampered Paws will provide another sitter to fulfill the responsibilities.

Inclement Weather:
Primarily severe storms, tornados, snow/ice conditions, etc. You will entrust Pampered Paws to use best judgement in caring for your pet(s) and home if I'm servicing you at the time of inclement weather. Pampered Paws will try to carry out your instructions to the best of our ability. The care I provide for our client's pets and their safety is my first concern. Every effort will be made to drive to your home. The service schedule may be changed, interrupted or altered due to circumstances. If it is not possible to drive safely to your home, your emergency contact will be notified and you will also be notified. Please remember that garage door openers are not operational in the event of power outages.

Security of Premises/Access to Home by Others:
Pampered Paws accepts no responsibility for security of the premises, any damages, loss, or injuries to your home or pet(s) if directly or indirectly by the actions or negligence of other individuals who may have access to your home during the term of this agreement. Client must notify Pampered Paws of others (friends, family, maid service, contractors, etc) will have access to the home during an absence by the owner. Pet Care will only be performed by Pampered Paws during all assignments unless prearranged with client.

Security Systems:
Pampered Paws is not liable for any charges, fines or other damages resulting from the malfunction or unintended triggering of a security system.

Loss or Damage:
Pampered Paws is not liable for any loss or damage in the event of a burglary or other crime that should occur while under this contract. Client agrees to secure the home prior to leaving the premises. Pampered Paws will re-secure the home at the best of her ability at the end of each visit.

Photos/Videos:
Client authorizes Pampered Paws to take photos & videos of their pets for file, business website and business social media accounts. All photos/videos taken are the property of Pampered Paws.

Termination of Agreement:
Pampered Paws reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time if the pet sitter in her sole discretion determines that client's pet poses a danger to the health or safety of itself, other pets, other people or the pet sitter. If concerns prohibit the pet sitter from caring for the pet, the client authorizes the pet to boarded at their vet with all charges to be charged to client.

Future Services:
Client authorizes this agreement by checking the box on our secure online software called Precise Pet Care before signing up for service to be valid for future services.
I have read and understand and agree to the policies and guidelines of Pampered Paws. I further understand that a copy of this form will be kept on file for documentary purposes. All policies and guidelines are subject to change at the discretion of Pampered Paws.
